“You can't rush your Healing” by Maarja Jõemägi
Healing is a natural and non-invasive process to bring us back into a state of balance and wellbeing on all levels. By relaxing the body, releasing tensions and strengthening the body's own immune system.
One of the many practices that support and bring about healing is visualization. Visualization meditation works because the neurons in our brains, cells that transmit information, don't make a difference between a real-life action and imagination. I like visualizing how the loving light form the universe washes me over with its healing properties. Or how the mother Earth offers me love and security. Love itself is already so healing so just experiencing the love that expands from the heart to every cell of my body is enough. Sometimes I visualize that I am going inside me and repairing my DNA. Or how the ocean waves just wash away all the tension that I no longer need. Whatever feels right in the moment. And there is never a right or wrong way to do it.
There is no time limit on healing. We are all on our own uniquely beautiful journeys, and the process of healing is different for everyone. Finding compassion and loving acceptance to ourselves is so important. Kindly observing and letting it flow as it needs to flow.
