The importance of a genuinely loving community has come up in my life a lot recently. I am again reminded how powerful it can be to surround myself with brothers and sisters who uplift and empower me. Who with I can show up exactly the way I am. Who with I can safely share my light.
You're looking into someone else's eyes, but you are actually looking into yourself - they are just mirroring it to you.

I experienced how much easier it is to lose myself in hectic London, a big city with a lot of energies that don't really support my being. It's been a challenge, and I'm grateful for all the reflections and everything London has brought up in me. But I was so ready to reconnect with my roots and deeply nurture my being in nature. I felt called to attend a retreat in the heart of Estonian woods. It was one of those moments when I didn't even have to think about whether to go or not, my whole body was just saying yes, and I knew had to go. All those workshops we got to experience were amazing, but what spoke to me the most was just the energy flow between the people and heart to heart connections with strangers. I think the most powerful for me was the eye gazing practice where you sit down with a person and look deeply into each other's eyes. You're looking into someone else's eyes, but you are actually looking into yourself - they are just mirroring it to you. The whole retreat experience was like entering the fairyland and swimming in this gentle and healing energy. I left with so much more clarity, ease and love in my heart.
It made me think about trust and how much more fun and ease we can feel if we have deep trust in life and ourselves. I think sometimes we need to put ourselves in an environment that inspires and supports our journey. I'm so grateful for myself that invited myself into this space and again, that I followed the guidance of my heart. And that I decided to open up and share this experience with you.
