“The Source” by Maarja Jõemägi

I talked about how the feelings are the representatives of our guidance system and indicators of our alignment with the Source. I like using the word Source, or the Universe because they speak to me the most.

I was thinking how could I explain or define the Source, God, the Universe, Great Spirit, the Higher Self or whatever it is for you, and then I realised it cannot be defined and doesn't have to be explained because it is simply beyond the mind. We all experience it differently, and there is no right or wrong, good or bad. I feel that its energy is flowing through all of us, and it's almost like it is the ocean, and we are the waves. And that we are all co-creating together.

I have been healing my relationship with the Source recently. I remember how triggered I was every time I heard the word "God". It was definitely because I unconsciously took over the beliefs of others, and also knowing how much violence and drama religion has created, I had a lot of resistance to everything related to religion. Once I started to dive more deeply into Buddhism, I saw that it is just another path leading to the same place, and from there, my beliefs and emotional links started to kind of fade away. There truly is no right or wrong.

Now I've developed a heart-centred connection to the Source that is based on love instead of fear. Remembering that heaven is a state of being in the moment, not a future destination. Embracing the imperfection of my human nature. Surrendering to the comforting remembrance that there is a higher power supporting me.

I would love to know what are your thoughts on this, and what is your personal relationship to the divine.
