I had so much fun writing this and I hope you will feel and take in the positive vibrations from this article. The previous week, I wrote about us living in a world of mirrors. Today, I'm going to explore how to connect with the joy inside and continue to talk a little more about reflections. 

Imagine a puppy bouncing and running around, embodying joy and excitement. I don't know about you, but it makes me smile and fills my heart with positivity. I remember with Jasper, the golden retriever I grew up with, we used to get lost in the woods. He was running around free, and so was I. It was always my happy place - deep in the woods with him. After the first excitement playing in the snow, there was this silent, calm joy when we were tired of playing and just lying on the ground. I love how many different shapes joy can take! It seemed like we were going for a walk when in truth, we were on our adventures, and these adventures took me always within. Seeing my dog being completely in the present moment encouraged me to do the same. 

In my brain, there is a connection between dogs and kids - they both represent joy, freedom and the present moment for me. Sometimes I feel like kids are greater teachers to parents than parents are to kids. I believe that amongst other amazing things, they teach us to play! As adults, we're often taking life way too seriously and making things more complicated than they are. We've forgotten how to play but isn't it what we came here to do? To play this game called life on a playground called Earth. I think there is so much fun to be found when we stop taking ourselves and life itself too seriously. How does it make you feel when you see that life is a fun game to be played? 

I think that dogs and kids help us to connect with the fun side. I enjoy playing board games and dancing like crazy to connect with the joy inside. I would love to know what connects you to the joy and your inner child.
