Whenever I go to nature, I take the time to be, and kindly observe my surroundings. I see the sun peeking between the leaves, birds singing, squirrels running, the wind blowing, and I consciously thank them all. Thank you, trees, for holding this loving space for us. Thank you, birds, for reminding us that we're free to open our wings and fly. Thank you, wind, for blowing away everything that no longer serves me.

Gratitude is such a high vibration. When I practice gratitude, I program my mind to focus more on the positive things. Even when there are challenging and perhaps unpleasant experiences coming on our way, I invite us to try and see what a gift this specific experience actually is. Sometimes the gifts are wrapped in a nice shiny and golden wrapper. Sometimes in a hideous and tattered wrapper. 

Recently I've been learning to hold space and be grateful for the parts of myself that I had been finding hard to fully accept. And that is so powerful. Gratitude is connecting me back to my joy and excitement for life. I am grateful for all the decisions that I've made because they led me to this very moment, exactly the way I am.
